Injury prevention in osteoarthritis: the physiotherapy pyramid and Beransa – hosted by Zoetis (FULL)

Osteoarthritis (OA) affects an estimated 40% of our small animal populations and with Beransa on the market we have a clinically effective tool in reducing associated pain. However, there can be increased risk of injury when starting an OA patient on effective pain relief without building muscle strength, proprioception and mobility. This talk looks at current evidence and management of osteoarthritis and how physiotherapy, and environmental modification, can work in unison with veterinarians to prevent injury and complement pharmaceutical management.

When: 6.45am – 7.45am, Friday 21 June

Where: Golden Fleece, Level 1, Crowne Plaza, 764 Colombo Street

Who: This breakfast is limited to 60 and attendees must be registered for the conference (open to veterinarians and veterinary nurses)
