Get your steps in for the day while engaging in some friendly competition with the Industry Veterinarians Branch of the NZVA.
Entry is $10 and there are a range of prizes up for grabs. You don't need to be a member of the Industry Branch to enter - the fun is open to everyone!
To enter:
- Sign up at the registration desk (if you haven't already done so)
- Track your steps throughout the day using a pedometer, smartwatch or your phone
- Email a screenshot or photo of your step count to industryvetsnz@hotmail.com (make sure the date is clearly visible) by 4.30pm each day.
This year, the challenge will be run over the first two days of the conference (19th and 20th June). There are prizes for the highest step count each day, as well as the highest total over both days.
All money raised will be donated to the Elizabeth Veterinary Benevolent Fund which helps fund free counselling for veterinarians through Vitae.
