If you're hopping on a flight, you'll want to fly to Queenstown or Invercargill and get a bus to Te Anau. You may need to book extra accommodation to meet the transport timings so you might want to book early to take advantage of any earlybird deals. Intercity: Departs QTN @ 7.55am; arrives TA @ 10.05am | Departs TA @ 6pm; arrives QTN @ 8.05pm (2 hours, 5 mins)

Invercargill to Te Anau

Catch A Bus South: Departs INV @ 10am; arrives TA @ 1pm | Departs TA @ 1pm; arrives INV @ 3.45pm (3 hours)

Driving

If you're driving, access to Te Anau is via State Highway 6 and State Highway 94 from Queenstown, State Highways 1 and 94 from Dunedin or via the Southern Scenic Route from Invercargill. All roads leading to Te Anau and Manapouri travel through diverse terrain and interesting scenery - don’t rush it!

During the conference

The conference venue offers accommodation and there are a number of accommodation suppliers nearby. Therefore, transport will not be provided to delegates to get to the venue each day. Transport may be included with field-trip tickets. Please see the field-trip description for these details.
