Up to date clinical information on patient management for atopic patients as well as diagnosis and other related veterinary knowledge.
Intended impact
Assist general practitioner veterinarians with managing sometimes complex and chronic cases by providing case based content as well as review of current thinking on how to approach cases from a diagnostic and treatment perspective.
Speaker
Dr. Helen Orbell - BSc (Hons), BVSc (Hons), MANZCVS, DACVD
Helen will be familiar to many of you having worked at Massey in the VTH for several years. She completed a dermatology residency with the Animal Dermatology Clinic in 2020 and is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology.
Helen runs the clinic in Palmerston North, teaches canine and feline dermatology to the undergraduate veterinary students at Massey University and is active in continuing education for veterinarians.
She enjoys all aspects of dermatology but special areas of interest are ear disease and the multifaceted approach to managing atopic dermatitis.
