Patrick Smith 

Patrick graduated from Murdoch University in Western Australia in 2014. He completed an internship in Auckland in 2015 before moving to the UK for further training. He completed a combined residency and Masters in Small Animal Oncology at the University of Glasgow from 2017-2021. After passing his specialist exams in 2021 he moved back to Auckland with his kiwi wife, Diana, and their Glaswegian street cat, Teddy.

Patrick has a particular focus on maximising quality of life in pets with cancer. He completed a Masters in canine lymphoma subtyping and has a keen interest in diagnosing and managing lymphoma in cats and dogs. Outside of work Patrick enjoys hiking and exploring everything New Zealand has to offer.
