After graduating from Utrecht University, Christa started working in one of the busiest equine practices in Johannesburg, South Africa. Apart from having an amazing time and learning a lot, this experience also sparked the desire for her to become a surgeon. Step one was an internship at Cambridge University, she passed some time as a primate vet and then completed her ACVS residency at Massey University in Palmerston North. Since then, she gained invaluable surgical experience working in equine clinics in Australia, Belgium and Germany. Christa came back to NZ to work as Veterinary Associates in Karaka.
