1. Supporting the grieving client
Knowing how to support and care for your clients through their grief is an invaluable skill. This ProSkill will help you to understand how to care for your clients. Understand grief and gain practical insight into the grieving process, communication strategies and how to refer clients for professional help. Format: Videocast lessons that should take up to 1 hour to complete.
2. Talking to clients about euthanasia
Learn the essential skills when discussing euthanasia with your clients and helping your clients to prepare for a euthanasia. Understand common client perspectives on euthanasia, ensure your client is informed of all the information they need to know in advance, and provide helpful resources to support your client. Format: Videocast lessons that should take up to 1 hour to complete.
3. Talking to clients after euthanasia
Learn the essential skills when dealing with the emotional and grieving client after a euthanasia has occurred. Understand normal responses to loss, utilising supportive words and actions to support your clients and provide supportive resources after euthanasia. Format: Videocast lessons that should take up to 1 hour to complete.
