Menopause - it's everyone's business

Menopause can affect us all - from the people who are actually experiencing it to their colleagues, bosses, partners and friends. The symptoms can impact all aspects of a person's life, both at work and at home.

This is an important issue for the veterinary profession, which is largely made up of women who will likely experience the effects of menopause at some point in their lives. If you are experiencing the effects of menopause, or you are supporting someone through this stage of their life, this webinar is for you.

Description

Webinar: 7.30pm, Wednesday 26 July

"As an older mum, I felt like I had only just had my children when perimenopause suddenly came along and hit me like a bus"

For me, it was hot flushes, mood changes and fatigue. Along with the reappearance of my teenage acne. Wrangling two young sons while coping with the hormonal turbulence of perimenopause made me realise how challenging this chapter can be. As a doctor, I want to help others navigate through their own perimenopause and menopause journeys.
