Description

Cancer is the number one cause of death in dogs. A novel type of immunotherapy has previously completed phase 1/2a human solid tumour clinical trials and demonstrated a great safety profile and initial efficacy. We have repurposed this drug for animals. Canine clinical trials have started initially in Hawkes Bay veterinary clinics with up to 90 dogs will be enrolled in the first stage of the clinical trials to establish safety data and initial efficacy data.

Speaker

Siobhan Ellis (CEO) is a Massey graduate companion animal veterinarian turned entrepreneur who has co-founded a company where the goal is to develop a novel cancer immunotherapy based on a human product developed in New Zealand. Siobhan has a passion to improve the lives for pets with cancer, having seen the struggle for both pets and their owners first hand.
